Stars currently have 11 active forwards ( Radulov we know won't play ) on the roster . So either Kivi gets activated and plays or someone else gets called up from the taxi squad before the game and plays .

They're not doing that again . Last time it was because the roster was full at 23 . Right now its not. They're at 21/23 so they can call 2 guys up before the game to play.

That was definitely his best game the two goals against were unstoppable, looked confident, great rebound control, was better with his battling through traffic and his positioning.

This is the perfect situation to keep building Oettinger's confidence too. The team does a good job of limiting high danger opportunities so he's not really at risk of getting shell shocked on most nights.
