he was 6th in the league in assists at 5v5. this is silly
Stick him on Arizona and he gets sub 40 points.

oh ok. so you evaluate players based on your made up hypothetical situations. how can anyone argue with logic like that?Stick him on Arizona and he gets sub 40 points.
That's looking like the Red Wings
Nylander is not a top line player.
And I'm surprised by that. I thought guys like Larkin and Anthanasiu were hot up and coming stars in the league. What happened to the wings anyway.
Datsyuk and Zetterberg are no longer playing. And I'm surprised by that. I thought guys like Larkin and Anthanasiu were hot up and coming stars in the league. What happened to the wings anyway.
If kapanen continues with his play I dont mind seeing nylander traded at all.
Yeah, no kidding. How many people saw Tatar with 7 points after 5 games?
Dallas is going with an extra skater with more than 7 minutes left? I've never seen that before.
No on one season of play he wouldn't get more than 5 or 6.The irony will be if Kapanen puts up Nylander numbers, but about 25-30 goals in place of Nylander's assists, and they have to pay HIM next season.

"Most overrated team" beats another playoff team to improve to a 6-1 start.
"Most overrated player" has 7 straight multi-point games to continue leading the league with 16 pts in 7 games. He joins the likes of Gretzky, Bossy & Lemieux to accomplish that.
Good time to be "overrated" in Toronto.
Big difference is that Kap will get a bridge for 3-4M for 2-3 years. They won’t be signing Kap for 8 years after 1 really good season.
That seems to be the theme of the Sharks season so far. I get it's not to be taken seriously but it is incredibly frustrating in the early going.
I can understand. Maybe the expectations are too high for one player to make that big of a difference right out of the gate.
