One point out of this matchup with Toronto is pathetic. I think this team really doesn't want to make the playoffs. Playoff race as tight as it is, you can't blow a lead to Toronto like that. Gross.

Well clearly we still haven't figured out how to play against lesser teams, and really they deserved to lose even without that blown lead. Watch us beat the Caps and Rangers and then lose to the Oilers.

You can't lose to bad teams and allow 35 shots against the POS Leafs, who had won 2 of 11 prior to this.

A win against Washington will obviously undo this, but this was one of the most pathetic performances in the last month. Easily in the last month.

I knew a shootout loss was incoming but I thought he would just give up two straight goals and that's the end but instead he makes two big saves to give his can't-score-to-save-their-lives teammates a chance.

Henrique and Zajac is probably one of the worst 1-2 punch C in the league right now. Well, at least, we'll know Henrique is better as a winger. Zajac is useless.

It's just annoying they drop so many points against the bottom five teams in the league. For a team that does rise up to beat the cream of the crop we still lose too many games to the cream of the crap.

We are also in a wild card spot and tied for 3rd in the division.

I don't understand what happened to Blandisi there, either the skate got screwed up somehow or he just lost all control of his balance but it hurts even more since they went on to lose in a shootout.

Gelinas should be out next game in favor of Severson. No question.

Tough loss but regroup and pull off the upset win Saturday and all will be forgiven. Nobody said the road to the playoffs would be easy.

He pulled his goalie so early down by only 1 because he KNOWS we rarely score empty net goals. It's becoming a trend, a lot of teams pull their goalies so early against us particularly. Outside of Roy, I still don't see many teams pull their goalie with 2+ minutes left down by just 1.

And it was just our luck that the last commercial break came right before that, to give them time to draw up a play.

Problem is that we have more games played than almost everybody. We really needed to keep winning games to apply pressure to the teams to win the games in hand to stay even with us. Not winning this game could really come back to bite us.
