Still hate losing to a team like Buffalo. Even the last few years when we were crappy you expect to win these games.
Devils always play down to crappy teams no matter what era(Marty Era/Cory Era) they were in.
Buffalo just seems to have their sucky-ness rub off the team unfortunately.
Was #2 the shot he passed up in OT because that REALLY annoyed me.
Still I liked his game overall. He doesn’t seem to be very good 3 on 3 though. Not the first time I saw him doing questionable **** in OT.
Everyone in New Jersey was screaming at him to shoot but he didn't which was aggravating.
Are you saying the massive increase in goal scoring, and that is the SOLE reason for our rise, is the result of Hynes coaching? I'd call BS.
Using that logic, The NHL might as well eliminate Head Coaches and Coaching staffs from Hockey Teams altogether and only have the players.
It really really really pisses me of that a beautiful play/goal and the win were unjustifiably stripped from the team. I know we still got a point but it’s going to be a tough game against the caps on the road in the second half of a back to back. I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if they lose tomorrow (even if they play well/hard) but now that would mean two straight losses potentially heading into the break. I just get paranoid that a game like this going against the team could snowball. I’m just left dumbfounded with how much influence the league/officials have on game outcomes, it’s ludicrous. Such a beautiful sport that gets regularly **** on by this league.
Look at it this way :
If the Devils lose tomorrow in OT, they'll still be in first place.
Silver Linings, guitarguy.
Silver Linings....
I don't see how this is conclusive that his back skate is off the ice.
Are you f'n kidding me????
Where the hell is the CONCLUSIVE evidence that he was offsides?
Devils got jobbed, PERIOD.
