Anyone know if this will be streaming on ESPN+ or are we out of luck if we don’t get NHL Network (in the States)?

Will Smith was solid today. Rough first period with two dashes but the whole team, him included picked it up for the final two periods. He had two goals, both nice, and also drew a penalty shot (saved)
Appreciate the report. Smith’s highlights definitely looked great. I certainly expect him to be a top scorer at the tourney.

I think this tourney will make people much more excited about Bystedt. Every time Bystedt plays against his own age group he dominates. He'll put up points this tournament in a way that he does not when he is playing against men in Sweden. I am convinced Bystedt is underrated because he is good enough to play in a real mens league and so does not score the points he'd produce if he played in juniors or college against teenagers. Bystedt will be the surprise of the tournament for most when it comes to Sharks prospects.

Producing or not producing in the league is not really an issue, and him going down a level to produce does not help at all.

What needs to be looked at with him is his production in the league he is in compared to others his age in the league now, or with similar players that made the transition from that league to the NHL recently.

Bystedt developing into a 2C or even a top 3C would be huge for the rebuild.

He got his usual secondary assist though.

Tell me you didn’t see his insane skill pass without telling you me you didn’t see his insane pass

Sounds like a much quieter game for Smith? Leonard scored twice and Perreault made them happen?

He looked great, that whole line did. His assist was an absolutely Thornton-esque pass.
