Given that I can't see games in person ever because of my location, I'm not really in a position to care. But I do like opportunities to post Archer GIFs.

I do it depending on whom I'm with. If I'm just by myself I don't do it. But if I'm with my friends we just woo back and forth when it gets quiet during the game.

It definitely has occurred before the 5-minute mark. To answer your question though, yes, it does factor into me not going to the game. I can't stand it. Think Kurt Angle when he blew up over the fans chanting "you suck".

Wasn't he supposed to embrace it since he was a heel?

Also the game is just much better to watch when crowds get into it rather than being stale.

Like that Raw crowd this year after Wrestlemania, that was the last great crowd in a while. Nowadays most of the crowds are just too into their electronics to care to cheer loud enough. Only one in a while you'll see a crowd come close to the noise of this:
