Yeah I’ve found rosters which is helpful. Would love to have depth charts for each game but not surprising I can’t find them

Pashin just scored from a bad angle. Michkov got the 2nd goal none of our prospects assisted on either of those 2. Not sure who got the points on the 1st goal for Russia. Also I don’t believe Seeley was involved in any of Canada’s 5 goals so far. Can’t find stats to confirm any of that though... Meaningless exhibition game but still nice to see Pashin get on the board.

The Canadian teams are always scary good but good lord did they take it to the Russians early. Liked the fight back by Russia though. I hope they do well so our guys get more games.

It was actually in 2002, I believe, back when there were 9 rounds in the draft. So ten players and 4 in the 7th round is still quite the feat.

Is it rare for 7th rounders to make the wjc? I wouldn’t think that’s the case. 7th rounders are usually pretty high end players at their levels, just small/slow or don’t process well enough for nhl standards.

I counted 9 playing in this year’s tournament, 4 of which are ours.

I’ve seen his names on lists, it just would’ve never occurred to me that he’s not North American.
