another thing about these russian kids is they're probably feeling very nationalist at this point in time. more so than usual considering that they're the enemies of the free world right now and are probably getting looked at a little longer because of it. kids that age are going to show out not knowing how to handle that. it was hard enough for grown men in the league.

In case you're wondering, case Joel Blomqvist seems to be about he U20 team brass not liking Blomqvist going to NA when he was invited to visit and train and play with PIT's farm team in April, instead of going to the four countries U20 tourney. The other guys "performed better, also in the commitment to the national team".
