What financial worries does a 19 YO kid making $70k US have?

A lot less worries than a kid making $170K.

PB time also means learning more about the game on and off the ice from NHLers. As long as he ends up with 55-70 games played between NHL/AHL/WJC then we should all be happy. He’s only 18. His best years are way ahead.

Just wanted to echo my thoughts from summer, remember Blaisdell as a dark horse prospect that is flying under the radar because he played in bchl. Kid flat out produces and I really think he’s gonna make it one day.

I dunno about that. He needs to worry about investing all that extra money. Should he buy a Mercedes or a BMW? Lots of things a kid making nearly 100k $C doesn't need to think about.

That’s a simple problem to solve. No problem at all.
We just need to trade a first round pick and a decent prospect for a UFA at the trade deadline and we’re all set.

I still take Byfield. Picking a probable number one center is too much for us to pass on.
