I would like to see Samberg as well. I am concerned by his lack of points and hope that watching him play will alleviate those concerns.

Yes, but I think they are looking at a longer development with him. "Raw talent" seems to be the operative phrase with him.Going from high school to NCAA is just mind boggling to me. I'm actually quite interested to see him as well.

It sounds like Stanley will play tonight. I don't believe the game will be broadcast or streamed however.

Vesalainen playing tonight! Not WJC related game, just a regular Liiga game, but great to see the injury wasn't a bad one

He lost his golden bucket while being injured. Sad times

Well dammit I have to sign in and I have no idea how to create an account.

I'm signed in to TSNGO but there's no video stream. On iPad or iPhone. Just a non stop hamster wheel. Oh well.

BTW I sign in using my shaw account email & password

Stanley was good last night I thought. The best D was that Ferraro for sure but Stanley I thought had a very good game after him.

The forwards were all bleh

great to hear. If he manages to stay on par with his competition, he might actually make it because he'll bring physicality no one else there can offer. He is also good PKer which helps a lot when applying for a bottom pairing job

That's encouraging.

I can't really see him making the team (especially with Mete available), but showing reasonably well in the try-out is still a step forward in his development.

I think he squeaks in because of the general lack of size on the rest of the D. Also being optimistic. Won't be disappointed if he's not selected.
I think we all have to be happy he is even fighting for the spot after how he looked last season
