Flames score on a 5 on 3. Copp blocks a huge slapper by Gio and couldn't get up making it a 5 on 2. Flames regained the zone and a tic-tac-toe from Johnny to Gio to Versteeg for a nice tap-in.

Stone and Bart just handcuffing each other with passes but the Forward core looks good at least might not have Stajan on the opening roster at this rate

Liking what I am seeing from Smith today. Seems to have his timing back, tracking the puck fairly well, making good glove saves, good low saves, made a really good side-to-side save.

If he can keep this up for most of the year we should be in good shape.
