As for Blashill I think part of it may have been that the refs wouldn't even come over to discuss it with him.

Given that you can now slash a goalie in the face and it's not goaltender interference, I think they were being awfully optimistic about the call.

If you freak out over every little thing then you come across as crazy. I do not think the circumstances warranted that kind of reaction from the Red Wings.
