Is it petty to complain about Peters and the coaching staff leaving the ice? Maybe I'm still a little sensitive from the lip service, but it's not a good look when you leave the bench when one of your players is down and out like that. They showed Peters eventually going to the ambulance to check on him, but seemed a little late at that point. Maybe they were waiting in the tunnel once they heard how serious it was and the cameras just didn't pick them up?

I think so. Somebody called into the Aftermath last night and was rather harsh on Peters (saying something to the effect of Peters cares more about his drinking water than the health and safety of his players) and Forslund made the point that what Peters and the coaches did is exactly what every coach on the losing end of OT does - immediately head to the dressing room. At that point the severity of Lack's injury was unknown and I'm pretty sure one or two Wings started to head off the ice as well. When it became clear that Lack wasn't getting back up they came back on and I'd assume Peters headed to the zamboni entrance at that point.

Anybody here if we have called up one of the goalies from Charlotte to backup Ward for tonight? I can't imagine Lack would dress tonight.

Haven't heard anything to that effect. The Checkers are playing away today in Cleveland - not sure if they'd fly out today or last night. I think the Everblades may be back in Estero after an away swing in the Midwest if we wanted to call up Neds.

Glad Lack is going to be okay and I can get back to talking about hockey.

But wow never noticed that Stemp has 0 seconds of 3 on 3 this season. You think for how bad the team has been on 3 on 3 they'd try something new...

I think most of us can agree Teuvo was are worst forward last night, made a lot of visible mistakes. He somehow got rewarded last night with the 2nd most ice time of all our forwards behind Skinner. He played 1.5 minutes more than Lindholm and 3.5 more than Aho. You think you'd maybe wanna utilize the guys that are hot right now more to win you the game?

I wonder how much of it was simply because he was on a line with Jordan Staal and Peters was running Staal out there more than any other C. Just speculating.

I wouldn't put him out there at 3-on-3 either. He's enough of a turnover machine as it is. At least TT is quick enough to maybe get back and cover his mistakes.
