Few new names, FA-wise...
2004 D Christian Holden - giant at 6'7 216. Not much offence but looks to play the physical game. Worth noting that his father was a scrappy D-man with the Knights back in the late 80s.
2005 F Lucas Legault - 5'11 170. Petes AAA system.
2005 F Rylan Masterson - 6' 174 - Played for Fort Erie Meteors (GOJHL) last season, 2 assists and 110 PIM in 31 games. Listed as a D on Elite.
2004 F Austen Pomerleau - 6' 160 - Guelph area. 11G in 21 games last season. Expected to be with Elmira Sugar Kings this season.

Could be Windsor uncertain who their 3rd goalie will be,knowing Medina or Onuska will be gone before season starts,I know they are high on 16 year old Carter Froggett, the others invited uncertain about,so Dobrich could be the 3rd goalie if Froggett doesn't get signed yet.
If Medina gets moved prior to season Dobrich could slide in to be 3rd goalie behind Onuska and Downey, especially if Froggett struggles.

If Downey struggles at camp, or in the pre-season, it could be a good time to do the "veteran/protege" thing with Froggett, assuming he does well in camp.

I didn't say he'd make the club or even stick around past 48 hours. I just said the club has done pretty well with bigger guys. Stanley, Sanvido, Rupoli, Robinson... all did their job. Am I wrong? The one outlier was Starikov.

your just listing big guys, only stanley was great. sanvido was an offensive guy in guelph u16 and was drafted for that, he was fine. rupoli was given away to us for half a year, robinson was traded away after never developing. i can list plenty of random players, doesn’t mean anything. if that’s your best, Stanley is the only one that was a top pairing guy, the rest were depth guys or guys that good teams gave away because they didnt have room for them after they upgraded.

I said "Windsor has a pretty solid history with big guys." Hence, why I listed the "big guys" we've had. There haven't been that many. They all did their job; some were better than others but they did what was needed. Robinson had 18 points the season before he was dealt, too. I don't expect greatness from bigger guys by any stretch; come in and do your job. That's it. Anything "great" is icing on the cake. Most have accomplished that. If you disagree, so be it. Hopefully Holden can come in and do well.
so yes, this is latta/mizzi 2.0. we accept average to below average like we saw for the 11 past years before this one. whats wrong with asking for more? we had more last year, we can expent more out of our group then other teams scraps.

Nobody is trolling or being arrogant. I'm laughing at the stupidity of the arguments in August. "It's already mid-season form on here." I said the club has a pretty solid history with bigger guys, which they do, and all heck breaks loose. If you disagree, no biggie, but to say this is Latta/Mizzi when I flat out said it's not AND to assume I have low expectations... nah. I don't have any use for that. The debate was going in circles; we weren't convincing the other and that's fine with me.
perhaps if you were not so condescending, there would be less arguments in august, or any other month for that matter. takes two and you have blood on your hands with the venom on here as well
