He looks like he's been dogging it the last couple of games
I’d like to think that he believed Gorton was going to keep his word from earlier in the season and not trade him

And he’s just now realizing that Gorton was totally lying

It was a bad missed tripping call, but lets be honest-they outplayed us pretty badly tonight 5 on 5.

Can’t blame him or Zucc tonight. They both want to stay, but know they’re probably being shipped out. It’s not fun, and you need to have fun to play well and play with confidence.

Well they did get an offer, heard something like 32M over 5 years for Hayes. But it wasn't good enough for him..
Think Zucc was offered 3 yrs, no thanks he said.

Well, Gorton at least tried to sign him, but Hayes wanted too much term.
I don’t believe for a second they actually “tried”

They knew his contract demands, it’s not like during the season he was magically going to be okay with a shorter term deal

Once they signed him to a 1 year, that was that, and Gorton coming out saying that they had no intention of trading him was just for show

1 pt away from 7OA ( 20% top 3 / 6.5% 1OA ) . 3pts from 6OA ( 23% top 3 / 7.5% 1OA )

That's about as far as we'll get... Unless we go on a massive losing streak and EDM, DET and/or LAK go on a winning streak

edit- take it all back.. we could theoretically and somewhat realistically get to #4OA
