Wonder how Scheif is doing? He seems like such an intelligent player, that I bet he comes back and just goes off.
The Canucks had one high danger chance in sixty minutes of hockey. As for regular scoring chances, six in sixty minutes.
Some teams have a sub-optimal offense. Others may be completely devoid of talent up front. I don't know how to even describe Vancouver.

Don't know how you got that out of what i posted , only on this board can people only see what they want to see when it comes to Buff . And no he didn't give Vancouver 20 opportunities but some people are convinced that he did no matter what .Only in this board with buff giving about 20 opportunities to opponent, some one can blame Chiarot who is not dressed.
I don't know if you noticed but Helle is crazy good.
He is also crazy for not covering up there.
(Dumb pass by Wheeler and half-assed effort by Laine getting back, but other than that they were really good)
Would have probably been a penalty if he covered.
Good point. I did not know this rule. Although one could argue he was being checked by Granlund I guess?
67.3 Minor Penalty – Goalkeeper - A goalkeeper who holds the puck with his hands for longer than three seconds shall be given a minor penalty unless he is actually being checked by an opponent. The object of this entire rule is to keep the puck in play continuously and any action taken by the goalkeeper which causes an unnecessary stoppage must be penalized without warning.
A goalkeeper shall be assessed a minor penalty when he deliberately holds the puck in any manner which, in the opinion of the Referee, causes an unnecessary stoppage of play.

I was thinking the same thing. He's on the fourth line and he's all in. He's very much like MP in that way. I think Roslovic will accept and excel at any role given to him. I hope he sticks around. What I love about Roslovic is that he gets it. He gets his role.
Remember the Maurice comment about Petan and how if he's going to play on the fourth line he needs to figure out how to be effective with the reduced minutes.
Roslovic is doing just that. He looks more comfortable in that role.

He's much faster than I thought previously as well.
I can imagine how Roslovic would look with some more talented players.Roslo is a lot more noticable 5 on 5 with (... umm... I'll be mean and call them) scrubs than Petan ever was. He does have to learn to not pass the puck to Hendricks though, lol.
i'm quite fine with PoMo's philosophy to bring rookies in slowly. so far, it's worked for Roslovic. Lower pressure situations and he's gradually picking up on the game. PP time and 4th line time and that equalled over 11 min of icetime yesterday. that's 3 more minutes than Dano or Hendricks.I can imagine how Roslovic would look with some more talented players.
Unfortunately (Fortunately?) our top 6/9 is getting pretty crowded

Roslovic doesn't really deserve more ice time or "better" linesmates just yet. the Hendricks conundrum may end up biting us in the butt come playoff time...even then, i'm not sure (game will slow down and get grittier).
Did you watch the game??? There should have been right defenseman taking care of defense, but both where on bench.
I agree that there is no hurry and that he is getting plenty of NHL time/experience. I think the fact that our fourth line is getting minutes is great for the team, and finally great for breaking in new young players.i'm quite fine with PoMo's philosophy to bring rookies in slowly. so far, it's worked for Roslovic.
