I am retired from being a civil servant for 15 years and with Bay and an old oil company for 15 years. For those who are still trying to get a better job it is tougher now than when I entered the workforce in the 70s. Use any connection you have and make yourself marketable and be patient. The best to you all. Bless the Leaf Nation.

Landscaping by day, restaurant cook by night. Five days a week. Let's just say that im pumped to be going back to school lol. I quit uni four years ago, and have done everything from sell cars to drive backhoes in that time.

Time to finish my honours degree and get this life thing going

I sell iPod's and iPod accessories at a Future Shop while I'm finishing up my last year in my International Culinary program.

Dude that's awesome. Best of luck to you.

I work Monday-Friday as a warehouse hand, mostly in packing and shipping, but also things like hydraulic manifold assembly, work section assembly, and pretty much doing whatever the specialized guys need done. I'm currently a junior at university as a bio/chemistry double major with a minor in math, and medical aspirations. The biology and chemistry I'm enjoying, the math not so much haha. Mostly I just want to help people.

Solar technician.

After taking Renewable Energy in College -> Designer job ->recently moved to Stratford for a technician position.

The Solar industry is bleak, but I'm still plugging away trying to build a resume and/or land something lasting.

That's awesome man, keep working towards your goals and once you get there your attitude will carry you a long ways.

I work with law firms to help them locate doctors for medical malpractice cases. I do that for about two hours a day and spend a solid portion of the rest of the work day on Hockeys Future, so I can't complain.

Unemployed college graduate (graduated this past June) I have an interview this Friday though for a company named 'Marcus Evans' in the business district down town. It is a corporate sales executive position. So that's super exciting!

Also, does anyone here have Linked in!? I can use a few more connections in the GTA so feel free to send me a private message so we can talk further :)

I own and operate a cleaning business. Mainly residential- if anyone wants a deal pm me! We service the GTA. I'd post my website but that is probably frowned upon.
