That's because it was created by Italian Americans, of whom there are now 17 million. There's more Italian blood in New York / New Jersey than there is in Rome.
Stromboli is delicious. Italy doesn't have a monopoly on good food, or even good Italian food for that matter.
I'm sorry but Nebraskan redneck can't invent sushi. If he tried, he'd be considered weirdo eating raw fish.I could care less whether Italy invented it, or a New Yawker, or some redneck in Nebraska. It's ****in good
Made a point of doing exactly this for lunch today when I heard the news this morning.Go out tonight to eat, someplace you've never been, talk to a stranger, compliment the staff, and think of Anthony Bourdain.
Tried my hand at Thai Red Curry and it turned out quite well. Next time I'm going to add broccoli and up the spice with a few Thai Chilis
Another Thai dish that doesn't even exist in Thailand.
yeah but "red curry" as it's known in these parts is simply called something else in Thailand. varying of course depending on where in Thailand you are. i.e. Panang curry (which is originally Malaysian anyways)Another Thai dish that doesn't even exist in Thailand.

I was told there would be no scrollingWhoooosh.
Today my family shall eat Baltic herring cassarole. I will salt the herring fillets, slice potatoes, chop onions, and layer it all in a tray with some pepper and dill. And bacon. Cover it in eggmilk, give it a hour and 15 minutes in 200 C until the eggmilk sets.
I’m not huge on fish, but that looks/sounds amazing.
