To continue - usually my breakfast consists of a nutrigain bar and a cup of coffee. Trying to break that habit by doing smoothies in the AM. This morning's was an Elvis - frozen banana, peanut butter, plain yogurt, apple juice, and honey. Came out pretty darned well. I'm also pleased that my blender is getting the most use it's seen since we got it as a wedding present.

I like the sign in the background, "You must have ID." Where in America do you actually have to tell people that? Maybe because of all the international tourists that are used to being able to legally drink at age 5?

At a polling station. And it's looked at as some huge inconvenience. Smh

New Amsterdam Gin martini . Lots of ice, a little dirty, few olives, splash of vermouth. 1 on a normal night, 3 when the Hurricanes lose. I'm drunk alot.

Had one of those Not Your Father's Root Beers this afternoon. Can't decide if I like it or not. Definitely not something I'd buy myself though.

I'd heard so much about Not Your Father's Root Beer so I went to get some and wasn't really paying attention and ended up with something called Coney Island Hard or something like that. Didn't much care for it. Don' know if the other kind is better as lots of people seem to really dig it. Might be better as a float.

Drinking a New Belgium Accumulation now. Beers are so much better in the fall/winter I think

I prefer the Coney Island to the Not Your Fathers personally, though neither is entirely my style.

Winter is the best time of year for beer IMHO. All the best stouts, browns, etc. come out this time of year, which are probably the styles that allow the most room for creativity.

For sure. Something about drinking a beer in colder weather just feels more right than in the heat.

I enjoy drinking dark beers in the winter aswell. It's like a meal. I typically keep a few pint glasses in the freezer for an after work "snack". I'm not a big beer snob in that I keep up with all the import and IPAs etc but lately I've been buying Elliot Ness. Very Tasty.

Not your father's is disgusting. Over the top sweet. Doesn't help I'm not a huge fan of root beer to begin with, but I felt like taking a shot of insulin after a few sips.

Continuing the Dave is Frasier and I'm Niles meme, I prefer Not Your Fathers to Coney Island. I'm a root beer fan in general so I like them, but it's a small dose kind of thing. I did, however, help myself to a double of some Wild Turkey American Honey Friday night.
