Some of the stuff in here is crazy. Read ANY thread in this section about goalies and the only thing you see is goalies don't have much value. At the end of the day that's what it all comes down too. He might be arguably the best currently it's debatable, but the value isn't going to be there. The offers giving up 1Cs++ and still getting turned down is laughable. Look at any recent goalie trade. Schneider got the 8th overall. Luongo didn't bring in much. Miller was sold for pennies when he was on buffalo. A young top 6 F a top 4 D and a pick is exact value.

I think a Malkin, Fleury + 1st or prospect for Price and Plekanec could be an interesting trade.

why are they giving away one of the best centers in the league to upgrade a position that doesnt need to be upgraded?

Maybe since that doesn't happen now and days, you won't get that much value for a goalie in a trade? Which is the point of this thread?

lol? you dont seem to understand... Price is the best goalie in the nhl atm and you dont think he has as much value as trades previous?
