contrary to popular assertion, most goalies are in their prime from around ages 23 to 31, just like most pro athletes.

Most overpaid goalies are on the wrong side of 31.

Playing a player who is in his prime in the NHL is beneficial.

Do goalies have up years and down years?

Yes.

Could we have potentially even wasted one of Wolf's up years?
