In what friggin world did he think there was a chance for a completion there? It was a sea of black jerseys. I don’t even know who he was targeting.

PIckens flies past everybody and scores a TD. Oh my.
He is an excellent WR when it comes to catching the ball. But he does not play for the team with no desire to block. Like if a RB doesn’t step up to pick up a blitz the QB won’t have time to throw him a pass. Everyone has to do their part on the play.

Pittsburgh is going to go 9-8 again and accomplish absolutely nothing.

Mike Tomlin is a damn good coach but at some point one has to wonder if change is needed just for the sake of change.

Backup QB matchups are impossible to predict. if you can’t stop the run you’re probably screwed. If you fall behind you’re probably screwed. Or sometimes the opposing D has no clue how to prepare for you because you aren’t supposed to play in the NFL and you’re fine.

So far not looking too good for Cinci on any of those fronts

It's not like there isn't tape on Rudolph. He's started 10 games in the NFL.

This is just the Bungles doing Bungles things.

It’s tough because his QB situation is so brutal they should be way way worse. Feels weird to punish him for wildly over exceeding

The QB situation largely isn't on him. But a lot of other things are. The playing down to competition, the fact his teams always appear to be unprepared/undisciplined (look at how Pickens and Johnson have been in the news the last month for giving up on plays/being a problem) and the fact he hangs on to coordinators for too long. First Dick LeBeau, then Todd Haley, then it was Matt Canada.

Like no one is going to deny he's a great coach, and if they do they have rocks for brains. But i'm getting the vibes similar to Andy Reid and Philly going their separate ways.
