One of Danielson or Kasper need to be a legit playmaker, or we'll need to trade a pillar defenceman, or continue to roll with even but slightly above average depth throughout the lineup.

Compher is playing well yeah but I just don’t see him as a 2C on a team that wants to compete for Cups.

He was literally that for the Avs.

The year they won the Cup their top centers were MacKinnon and Kadri. Last year was the only year he was the 2C for Colorado and they lost to Seattle in the 1st round.
