He's really smooth with the between period interviews too.

His goal deflected in off a Malmo defender's skate in front. I haven't seen many backhanders on his resume this year, but that one was just chucking it toward the net with traffic.

It's okay. If you go back 5-6 years to look at the players leading the SHL in goals, it isn't exactly a who's who of future NHLers.

Please, Botts, fly over and sign him up as soon as his season is over. We need guys that can put the puck in the net whatever the method and this kid is proving that's his specialty. If he works out he can make up for the loss of Kane.

Yep. A quick look at the AHL transactions page from last post-season shows teams adding guys both on reassignment from juniors and on ATOs/PTOs mid-playoffs.

Isn't the caveat being players whom buffalo owned rights to prior to the deadline. Olofsson is buffalo owned, So he can sign and play as with borgen., but this can't be done with free agent signings???
