Baseball sucks

I can't stand baseball now that analytics rule the game. I used to like baserunning, opposite field hits to move a baserunner. Now it is mostly strikeouts and homeruns.

Analytics are annoying but have not ruined baseball as analytics are barely mentioned on TV or radio.

Again suddenly stats like Batting Average and ERA are too "old fashioned" for people. What is wrong with BA? What is wrong with ERA?

Why is everything plus now? Why do we use OPS+?

And you know WAR? Wins above replacement? Again every MLB player by definition is better than an "average standard 100 AAA player" so the statistic makes no sense. Not only that WAR is not even agreed upon by the industry, to the point where several different variants of WAR exist.
