All these years later, I still maintain that an upside-down 7 looks more like a backwards "J" than an "L".

For example, yes anyone can infer it says hello, but it would so clearly look better had they used 1's instead of 7's.

It's what we had back then, you did with what you had. I remember flipping my calculator in 6 grade with a new girl that moved in when the teacher was facing the black board. She thought it was cool. Technology is all about knowing how to use it, even back in the mid 70's. Too bad she wasn't into pong though...

I sip on Stoly, granted a bit different perhaps acquired taste. I used to sip bourbon and whiskey but no longer have the taste for them.

Stoli is alright. Try the “Elit” version (if you haven’t already) for a step up.

“Russian Standard Platinum” or “Ketel One” are my go-to vodkas.

Perfect for sipping straight. Deelish.

Finlandia and Luksusowa were my shit back in the day, but I drink so little nowadays that it's easier to justify buying the more expensive brands, so I usually just buy Tito's whenever I want vodka.

The one drink I haven't had in a while and I've been craving lately is some J&B and ginger ale.

Yeah, it is different, where as the usual brands are pretty close to each other. I always preferred GA to cola even as a kid growing up, may be more in my taste range then most people.
