Maybe a bit early but regardless...

Carlyle: "When you win a hockey game and you only get 13 shots and the opposition has 33, I don’t think you can say that was your game plan"

Carlyle on Monday's rematch with the Bruins: "It’s going to take a more intense effort than we had tonight to go in there and have success."

Re: Liles injury
Carlyle says Liles X-ray is negative ... More of a sprain thing, coach says

Interesting to see who comes in for Liles, and if we can put up a better effort and win. Not many times can you get away with a W with only 13 shots on net.

They did it once, they can do it again.

Plus we have Lupul.

Who comes out? I think Hamilton earned a spot for now.

I think we see Mclaren sit and Hamilton take his spot on the fourth line.

Carlyle really needs to get these sissies to play against the Bruins. And we need to stop with the blind passes in our zone. That's why we get pinned in our zone.

Lupul will be a HUGE addition. Leafs shot count will double. Bruins shot count should stay about the same. Leafs need to stop having players leave the game early. It's causing them to get tired before the game ends. Can they just have 1 game where the full roster plays a full 60? Every player's minutes counts. The big reason why the Leafs can't play a full 60 is because they have to double shift players due to absentees.

It's not like Liles purposely got hurt lol.

Caryle absolutely will not sit McLaren. It isn't Caryle's style and goes against his word. McLaren scored the game-winner, and has played his heart out since being picked up.

Hamilton will sit, and if Hamilton really did make that much of an impression then the next guy would likely be Frattin.

Seems like Frattin might find a few games with the Marlies for conditioning helpful. He's not playing at the level he was at the beginning of the season.

blind passes and the bantam special wrap around the boards the the opposing team when a boston players there, and they need to just flip it out of the zone sometimes, and we can win, keep scoring and getting good tendying by reimer, and we're golden

His career thus far: Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde.

He's either been dominate, or largely invincible.

Lupul will be back, and that significantly improves our odds.

However, we're out JML and the game is in Boston. Gonna be a real rough one I imagine. I'd absolutely be thrilled if we managed a point in this game. We've proven that we can play well against Boston this season, hopefully we can eke out another win.

Both of those sound awesome!

The Bruins don't look quite the same without McQuaid, Boychuk, and Kelly in the lineup.

They just seemed "off" tonight somehow and I fully expect to see a different team on Monday.

Their callups definitely were exposed a few times. Makes you realize how accustomed the regulars are to Boston's game. Boston has a team that has been together for years, it's no wonder they are such a hard team to beat. Not to mention they have a team full of defensive specialists and strong work ethic players.

Gonna be hard to beat them even with lupul back. Once Boston defensemen started pinching in the along the half boards to keep the puck in, our leafs began to struggle at moving the puck out and routinely blindly gave the puck away. I'm assuming this Is something caryle and co. will work a lot on in practice.

Carlyle's thoughts on Matt Frattin:

“I thought Matt Frattin in the last game was more of the Matt Frattin that we need,†Randy Carlyle said of Frattin's effort in a 5-4 shootout loss to Buffalo. “He was on the body more consistently, he was around the puck and he was involved in the game. And as I've stated before if Matt Frattin's not physical, not hitting, he's not effective. And we need more of that effective play from Matt Frattin.â€

I think we see Mclaren sit and Hamilton take his spot on the fourth line.

Hamilton looked good and has likely earned to be in the lineup again, however I'd prefer to see McLaren play against Boston. When Lupul's back there's a possibility RC could consider 'resting' Frattin instead, but you never know.

Hey, I know you scored the GWG and helped us beat a divisional rival for the first time in 2 years but we're gonna ask you to sit so that we can play an AHL mainstay with 4 NHL GP in your place instead..

Yeah..No.
