Kerfoot is a good top9 player who probably didn’t get that much attention because he was surrounded by really good players on the AVS.

I mean if the worst thing you can say is he overpaid a third liner by 500k then IDK what to tell you lol. If he fits in with the team as the third line C that is a good deal.

AJ and Kap got 3.2 and 3.4 for 3 and 4 years. They have 1 season of 45ish point production and room to grow. Kerfoot has two years of approx 45 points and is a center with good advanced stats. This is a fair deal maybe even a slight discount based on his projected deal for 4 years term.
