I can't believe I missed all the nose puns.

Losing goal off of Ehlers's schnozz? That sinus not a good one for us. I think a win would mucus all a little happier.

It's as if the Isles were kissed by fate. And I don't even mean "French kissed", they got "Belgian kissed" -- it's like French kissing, but a bit more Flemish..

... Uh, bla bla bla something something somethingggg.... cartilage..?

Thank you, thank you; my puns will be here, all weak.

Was at the game. Hammer is good. I'd trade for him in the summer if I was Chevy. Myers and whatever else they need to add.

Happy for them...

Mc' Pardy. :handclap:

Pardy second straight game over 20 minutes, Oiler's 2-0 with Pardy, Pardy 3rd star in Oiler's 4-0 win over Flyers, 1 assist.

Ladd 1 goal, 1 assist in 2 games with Hawks who are 2-0 with Ladd in lineup!

Jets 0-2 without Ladd or is it 0-3? 0-2 without Pardy.

What are you beaking about?

The obvious discussion in the Jets training room afterwards:

Doctor #1: "Oh man, Ehlers's nose is bloodied and swollen shut!"
Doctor #2: "Well then how does he smell?"
Doctor #1: "Awful!"
Ehlers: "Excuse me, I'd like a second opinion."
Doctor #1: "Okay, you're none too bright either!"

Really nice game from Lowry, I thought.

The Jets were all tenacious on the forecheck, led primarily by Perreault.

Have to say... Buff didn't garner good results for 5v5

Stands to reason that a high event player would look pretty bad when they have one of those ho-hum games, offensively.

Random note:
Burmistrov has been on the uprise in Corsi... has passed Peluso, Copp, and Thorburn

He's been better, I think. Simplifying his game, and definitely moving the puck quicker.

I've seen some painful ways to lose a game but that takes the cake.

There better be a huge reward for us on lottery day after suffering through this huge poop sandwich of a season. :shakehead

As of right now, we're drafting anywhere between 1st and 7th. I think there are 4 or 5 players who could easily play next season, so yeah it's looking good.

You forgot Stemp had 2 assists in his first game as a Bruin tonight.

He was likely not that good to begin with....he just had a good patch.

Sounds like our other guy too.
Too bad thought Hutch could be the guy.
Maybe if he starts Chevys car in the morning or scrapes the ice off the wind shield he too could get an awesome contract

Trouba and Bambi saw how Ehlers took one for the team and were impressed . They were overheard after the game asking Chevy to sinus for the next 6 years

I think your sugar rush is wearing off - that was a long road to travel for that pun. ;)

Perhaps because he stopped playing with absolute plugs.

Most likely it's because he stopped playing like a plug. He's actually passing the puck to his teammates in a timely manner and dumping the puck in when warranted. He has eliminated many of his neutral zone turnovers

Agree. I thought that was very odd. I haven't like staffords play of late and ehlers has been awesome. Weird.

When I saw Stafford on the ice in the final minute I thought maybe Burmi would have been a better choice. Guess Mosers gonna Mo.
