Ticketmaster is selling parking passes for $55!

Not sure how much light rail would cost.

round trip for light rail 6 bucks! Check the VTA website for departure times based on whatever stop you are close to.

Also remember stick on the Levi's Stadium train. That way you don't have to do any transfers. (again depends where you are coming from).

Coming from LA

Then take the main train that gets you into SJ and then get on the light rail. Or sorry if you meant you were driving? I would not park at Levi's! (I am a 49ner STH and I live in the OC to give reference and I won't park there!)

Anyway the best stop to get on from is the Santa Teresa stop (where my folks live). It's the end of the line for South SJ. plus it becomes the main Stadium train. Takes about an hour maybe hour and 20 with stops to the Stadium.

The reason I say this stop, is that parking will be pretty easy at this stop.

But if closer to Downtown then I would look to see where you are parking and how close you are to a station, since not all stations have parking.

Saying that I am underwhelmed by the musical artist choices is an understatement. Metallica would have been an obvious choice.

I was hoping for Green Day but Metallica would have been great too. Any advice on Public Transportation. Hope to see the stadium a lot before the game starts.

I just want to be clear since I haven't taken light rail in years, and never from Milpitas. Since I'm not at an express stop, I would need to transfer to the Mountain View line at Tasman, correct? Also, how long might that trip take(great mall-transfer-Levi's)?

We're getting a ride but I don't want to ask this person to drive through that much of the traffic caused by this.

I am hoping this stadium game won't be a circus that causes the Sharks to lose sight of the fight they are in.

Thornton now gets the chance to enter top 20 all-time in assists in front of 70,000 fans.

Don't know why, but would be a sweet moment to me.

Do you guys know if the store at SAP will be selling the clear bags to use at Levi's ? I'm flying in tomorrow night so I'd love to stop at SAP and get a Sharks bag before the game on Saturday

Yes, that's the route you'd take. I have no idea how long it will take though, i've only taken the Light Rail from San Jose and that was many years ago.
