If you cannot stop it, might as well get in front of it and tax the hell out of it.
You have too much time on your hands.
OCD much, Main?
Went on a date with a girl that worked at a Denny's. Never spoke to her again, now I do not go to Denny's to avoid an awkward situation.
Why would you want to take Easter away from me dude?
The sheer look of terror on my step daughters face when I told her I will be capturing the bunny to cook for our Sunday meal was priceless... All week she was worried about the end of the Easter Bunny
anyone know if bonktastic has twitter?
Well I'm giving this board a little break at least until the draft. Too many whiners, more talk about money and crap lately on here.
Later!
And the Boston Marathon... This isn't new but they are milking a tragedy for political and economic gains. Apparently they expect twice the amount of people at the marathon this year. They've implemented almost military like security. I was royally pissed they used this in the NHL to have more security; bag checks, person searches etc. This was immediately after. Can you say Patriot Act? I was in Boston in October and every street corner had people selling Boston Strong merchandise. I asked a couple of them how much of the sales went to whatever the hell foundation that is and most of them said none or under 20%. Humans are ****ing terrible.
As someone who was there today, it was absolutely military like security, there were people from ATF, Homeland Security, Secret Service, Military Police, NYPD, State police from all over the area and guess what no one reasonable had any issue with it, cause guess what security is all that matters really. I'd much rather wait 10 minutes longer in line that have to worry if my young child is really safe.
That said, I don't like the whole Boston Strong crap. I despise the people who keep selling that stuff. It's garbage.
Eh, I think there is a bit of a difference between an attack deliberately targeted at civilians and one that is targeted at terrorists / 'enemy combatants' but incurs collateral damage.
Both situations are tragic: one is malicious, the other is reckless.
Fair enough. You still hear almost nothing about the later though. At the very least it gives of the impression that they don't care.
The irony in it all is that the attacks were motivated in large part by the collateral civilian deaths caused by American drone strikes.
American activity in the middle east has really grown the islamic fundamentalist movement in places like Pakistan. It's a lot worse than when they first got involved in Afghanistan over a decade ago.
