They knew this was a possibility prior to going forward with the transaction. What are they to do when they find out about a player not being able to play 7 hours before a game.
Make sure everything is arranged before!
If the plane or something is not possible
Just play 7D
Its nooooot going to change anything
Stop playing yoyo and focus on things more important like throwing a practice in the schedule now and then
Whatever anyway

They had a meeting at the hotel at 1pm and Boucher had a media availability after, he said they had just found out he won't be able to play. Chlapik finished the game and everything seemed fine, probably a case of Chlapik feeling stiff/sore today and just informing the team. I'm sure they were in the process of getting someone here the moment they found out. No need to make an issue out of nothing. They brought an extra body on the trip for a reason, if the can't get a forward here in time, they can go 7 D.

Playing 7 D might help, however you can only have 5 skaters on the ice at the same time!

If you wanna know how bad this team is.....look at those 10 seconds we spent behind the net on the PP letting the Blues take the puck away.... lol.

Blues are looking for a scoring winger ... as we watch Burrows skate up the ice on the Power Play... :shakehead

We're the ones who had a PP and we're still being outshot 3-2.

I take back that comment about a blowout. This is the total opposite. Blow-in?

Anyone remember the Blues jerseys when they had red in them?

Was it laziness when it worked in the playoffs?
He didn't do it as often in the playoffs. And when he did he often would at least carry it to his own blueline before trying a stretch pass. Now he just doesn't move his feet and fires it on a wicked stretch bank pass that is incredibly hard to control.
