I may be biased but I’d say the Blues. Both the Blues and Flames have very deep and balanced rosters though. But with so many new parts, I could see it taking a while for Calgary to be cohesive.
Edmonton has a dynamic offense and I think improved their goaltending but their D is still suspect.
Kaprisov is amazing and I think the Wild will continue to have a good regular season record but I see no reason to think they’ve somehow found the formula to actually be a playoff threat.
People are sleeping on Nashville and LA a bit I think. With the flat cap, there’s a lot of teams that had to take a step back but with the additions of Niederreiter and McDonaugh, the Preds improved this off-season, at least on paper.
Vegas is decent on paper but they’ve screwed themselves with the cap.
I like Oettinger and Robertson a lot but overall, Dallas is just ok.
