We gave up our season tickets way back when KLowe was busy ranting.
For roughly the same price (usually less) we take a 2 week all inclusive vacation every year. As my wife put it, we get over 300 hours of vacation with food and parking included versus about 120 hours of hockey watching. I get a tan and come back with no stress, best decision ever.
The other thing I noticed is that the Oilers don't give a crap about me not renewing as there are hundreds of people that gladly took my spot. So, if you think you are hurting the organization by not renewing, you're not. Make sure you are doing it for the right reasons.
