I remember Treliving saying when they signed Giordano that they had an internal cap system. And Gio kinda set the ceiling for that. My guess is Johnny signs for 6 years 6.75 million.

Solid deal. Not really a discount, but totally fair, good contract length, and nice to see one of the big two get signed finally. If Gaudreau's cap hit/contract length is anywhere close to Monahan's I will crap myself with joy.
