Trade Bait: Winnipeg Jets sniper Patrik Laine on the board - TSN.ca

There's no more basis for Laine being on that board than just to get clicks and generate heat. No rumors. No player discontent. Nothing more concrete than a hundred random fan-created trade threads on social media.Trade Bait: Winnipeg Jets sniper Patrik Laine on the board - TSN.ca

Very true... he’s definitely in Eklund territoryThere's no more basis for Laine being on that board than just to get clicks and generate heat. No rumors. No player discontent. Nothing more concrete than a hundred random fan-created trade threads on social media.
Seravalli shows that he's a hack.
So, TSN puts Laine on their trade board and Chevy is going to trade him?
unbelievable...

Many are, no clicks no job
I’d say more like “brown journalism”, because Seravalli and his article are full of shit!It always works.
There's something different about fans speculating about what the Jets could or should do to improve their favourite team, from a sports journalist using that sort of wild speculation to suggest that Laine is on the trade block. He provides absolutely no basis for his speculation.
The correct term for what Seravalli has done on this is "yellow journalism".
Post of the day!!!!!!!!I’d say more like “brown journalism”, because Seravalli and his article are full of shit!
Did you just come on the Jets board and offer Studnicka for Laine? Bold move.
Except that even last year Ehlers had some of the best controlled exit/entry numbers in the entire league. Even Scheif and Wheeler had great numbers in that regard. Laine's numbers were some of the worst on the team and his passing out of the zone numbers were worse than any other player we dressed this year.
Chevy chose Wheeler over Laine when he gave Wheeler that 8.25m AAV extension
Sorry to burst everyone’s bubble but we won’t be able to sign Laine long term. Our team cap won’t allow it for one. He won’t take a team friendly deal since he has been marginalized since he was drafted.
The only scenario he stays is that he plays with Scheif all year and that is not going to happen
Hey, no bubble bursting till the pandemic is over.
Seems to me that the national pundits don't have as much insight about the Jets as many of the anonymous fans on social media. It's a nice gig, I suppose. In what situation would Jets want to trade Patrik Laine? - Sportsnet.ca
Elliot Friedman" the only reason the jets would trade Laine is if they think they can't resign him long term"
Hmmm, do you think so.... Noo way that could never happen!!
Nonsense. The Jets have more than enough cap space to re-sign Laine. That doesn't mean they think he will be worth what he demands.Chevy chose Wheeler over Laine when he gave Wheeler that 8.25m AAV extension
Percent of 5v5 ice-time on a line with Scheifele - 2019/20:This is crap . Wheeler deserved that contract and embraced Winnipeg unlike any other player. He could of got more elsewhere.
Maurice has chosen wheeler over Laine. Chevy has not helped the situation by not giving Maurice any other options other then to split is safeguard first line up ad play Laine with little
