I'm not really sure what we could offer for Iginla anyway. 1st is out of the question and we don't have our 2nd, so a 3rd?

Neuvirth and retained Filppula please. Sharp if he's not too injured.

Apparently it is, hence why its difficult to trade him. Too bad though. I would take him on this team easily if not for he injury problems.
A 3rd is an overpayment. Iginla is done. He can't play anymore.

If SJ wins the cup the 4th turns to a first, no one would be complaining if they win the cup but that seems like a lot for a 3rd liner
The Sharks will find a way to choke like they usually do.
Wingers: Vrbata, Stempniak, Parenteau, Vanek, Stafford, Iginla, Hemsky, Hudler, Sharp
Goalies: Halak, Neuvirth, Nilsson
Still a lot of wingers available. I don't see why we don't add one if the price is a mid round pick +. I wouldn't give anything significant for Vrbata/Stempniak/Vanek/Parenteau/Sharp. The rest aren't worth that much anyways.
Getting Neuvirth and Sharp would be my dream scenario.
Vrbata could be a nice addition especially for the pp. He's good at getting off the one timers and he could work well with McDavid on the first unit pp

Apparently it is? That's weird cause I mean he played sunday against Boston and had an assist and played 17 minutes tonight against the Pens. Sounds like it's something he is playing through.
If the cost is a 4th + contract with a condition that it becomes a 3rd if he plays 15 games down the stretch.
