Holy crap we actually won that. Not gonna lie I thought this series was gonna be a lot easier but damn the devils were pesky. I am annoyed at some of their dirty plays but they were also in it for other matters too, so I can't discredit that.

So if the Marlies go deep with the run and memorial cup is done Marner will be available for Finals?

Kapanen might just be Claude Lemieux 2.0.
And that Conor Carrick kid, he can play. Winnik is MVP for the Leafs. Now imagine Laich can net another 3rd rounder. Think Leafs should sign Winnik again just to say thanks, even if it means sending him to Robidas Island right away.

Would the Leafs have him join the Marlies though? I don't know. Does anyone know if that has ever happened before?
I think at worst he'd practice with the team. Or Lou could go tell him to take a break after such a dominating last two + months.

Was at the game and it was a great vibe! I swear I was the guy who started that wedgewood chant and was being reckless yelling his name with buddies. Super fun honestly

I think he'd likely get a break. If he wins the Memorial Cup, he's earned a break and will likely be pretty tired after such a long tournament.

mark my words winnick will win a cup with the leafs. he will be back in uniform with in the next 2 years. the guy wants to play here love the city the market and takes one for the team year after year.

to be fair each year we have traded him to a heavy favorite if not the favorite to win it all

Can anyone else totally see C.Carrick develop into our own version of like a Vatanen, small right hander that can move the puck well and score. That would be awesome.

They kind of just got past their nemesis in Albany! They had their difficulties but pulled out the big one.

Huge win. Hopefully it goes right to their legs and they find their dominant selves again here. Atta boy Clune. Thats a nice goal for a dude that had a personal battle going on. Pretty cool.

Willy needed to pick it up and got a assist. Keefe wasn't very happy with him lately. He didn't like his competitiveness apparently.

Thats not a good sign when the going gets tough!! There is a article about it on the score about it.

Agree with you. Actually, I think he played his best in the playoffs with the Caps. Really think he is the type that just do all the dirty work for the superstars.
Would be interesting to see the Leafs sign him in 2017 as a UFA and play him with Matthews and Marner.
