Not really. He knew it was coming. MacWilliam was going after him all night and he just slew footed their goalie. You don't even have to have eyes to see that one coming.

I guess he better get used to being a target and stepping up than because he didn't appear at all ready to throw down.

leafs got absolutely spanked in every aspect of the game. wish there were some tougher teams in this tournament. last couple years this tournament has been a cake walk for this organization. gotta hand it to Pierre Dorion and the scouting staff, they find amazing players.

I didn't like watching Robinson just turtle and take the punches. Even if he's outmatched as a fighter he should stand up for himself otherwise every little punk will challenge him. Hope he learns the ropes in Bingo or he won't have an NHL career with the Sens.

It's not an actual tournament.. teams are just icing guys to see where they are in development. This proves nothing in terms of how good your prospects are.

My take on the game:

First off, Sens started off strong. But within about 5 min leafs were more physical and the better team, scoring 2 in the first.

From that point on, Sens picked it up, and the third was awesome. Stone, Prince were my favs of the game. Pageau played well, and Lazar has some serious speed.

All in all, fighting doesn't win games.

I was at the game and a whole sens family behind me (aka 4 kids under the age of 9) kept chirping some drunks that kept chirping the Sens. They were great! And lots of Sens fans there.

Just noticed this about Dunn. He and Mantha played for Val D'or

Anthony Mantha 1994-09-16 R 67 50 39 89

Vincent Dunn 1995-09-14 C 53 25 27 52

Mantha is a year older, went 20th overall to Detroit.

Dang, forgot to include this part:

Mantha vs Dunn (comaprison based on age)
Mantha 2011-12 63 22 29 51
Dunn 2012-13 53 25 27 52

Dunn outscores him in PPG by a significant margin.

Prince looks dangerous. He's really made some strides over the past few years.

I dont get this, does the cut off date change year to year (thus allowing for a gap of over 1 full year in the same draft)? And Dunn made it just by the hair on his chin?

Either way, I didnt realize Dunn was so young. He played a very solid game tonight.

did anyone see improvements in Stones skating? the guy looks average now, and that is just amazing with his skill.

What I noticed was that Mantha is 363 days older than Dunn, so a comparison of Mantha from a year earlier has some value.

What it shows is that Dunn (drafted 138th in 2013) outscored, by a decent margin Anthony Mantha who was drafted 20th overall in 2013 when compared at the same age, rather than the same year.

52 points in 53 games for Dunn, 51 in 63 for Mantha

Mantha was born on the first day of eligibility, Dunn - on the last
