"Pro scouts" watching his games
He was great today and really controls the game. Reminds me more of Pietrangelo personally
4 even strength goals all year and almost half of assists on pp.
I would expect more even strength numbers from him.
tbh I'd love to see him go to Montreal. I think it's a great fit for the organization.Trevor Timmins and Marc Bergevin are at Chicoutimi tonight and tomorrow for the 2 games between the Sags and the Titans

Is Weber going play on the bottom pairing in 2 years? If he could play LD I could see a solid pairing of Dobson-Weber in 2 years

Expecting a draft+2 prospect to be anything more than a bottom pairing D is setting yourself up for disappointmentMy life as a third rate hf boards troll
Except if the prospect is a top 10 draftee and a real good one at that...Expecting a draft+2 prospect to be anything more than a bottom pairing D is setting yourself up for disappointment
From the little I've seen and lot I heard, someone like Pietrangelo? Just a safe, solid two-way D.Whats his best nhl comparable?
You should expect any D+2 top 10 pick defenseman to contribute as a second pairing dman or else they're behind schedule in their developmentExpecting a draft+2 prospect to be anything more than a bottom pairing D is setting yourself up for disappointment
Expecting a 20 year old to anchor the 2nd pairing is some high expectation. You should expect any D+2 top 10 pick defenseman to contribute as a second pairing dman or else they're behind schedule in their development
Dobson reminds of me a right handed Klefbom. I don't see the elite ceiling but #2D is still very good. Both players were/are very raw during their draft years. What you can expect from them is 25-35 points a year in their prime but nothing otherworldly like 50+ pointsI don’t see it at all.

Well development isn't linear, but generally by D+2 they should be making an impactThat's just silly. Pietrangelo, who many have compared Dobson to, was in juniors in his D+2 season. He turned out alright.
