Don’t understand why Chicago does this...
the downgrade from Toews to Galchenyuk is much larger than the ugprade from Crawford to PriceChicago upgrades their goaltending, gets a young centre/winger with potential, and a 1st.
So does Chicago. /threadMontreal needs a centre badly
Price has been elite since his first three seasons, how many goalies step into the league at his age? That definitely skewed his stats. He's a legend in the making.how much of an upgrade is Price from Crawford?
Price
Season 2.40 / .920
Playoffs 2.53 / .914
Crawford
Season 2.37 / .918
Playoffs 2.29 / .919
actually he isn't
so Chicago gives Crawford / Toews (two of their 4 most important core pieces) for Galchenyuk + 1st and a similar value goaltender?
keep trolling Montreal
The difference between Price and Crawford,Quick,Murray,Talbot,Vasilevskiy,Holtby, etc; is not as significant when trying to win a Cup as to the difference between Drouin/Plekanec and Crosby/Malkin/Backstrom/Kuznetsov/McDavid/Toews/Kopitar/Carter/Stamkos/Johnson; etc. etc.Price has been elite since his first three seasons, how many goalies step into the league at his age? Ya. We all know that Crawford is twice the goalie Price is.Why would chi trade down in goal and centre. If you can call chucky a centre.
