To be fair, Brassard has spent a lot of time playing with a badly injured (guessing here, but seems like it) Kessel and a Sheary who A. does nothing without the puck on his stick, and B. falls down whenever an opposing player gets within 5 feet of him.
It's not like he's had a great situation dropped in his lap. But with Sheary being ineffective, Hornqvist being hurt, Kessel being hurt, and needing wingers for Sid and Geno, Brassard isn't really going to get a great pair of wingers. I think he's been fine. He's our 3C, he gives us depth and allows Sheahan--who has been very good in his own right--to move to the 4th line.
