Outplayed by Boucher year 1 and by Bryzgalov year 2.

No, I do get it. Hart, or none of the prospects arent guarantee. But we arent in a win now window, so we can afford to take that chance and see if he pans out. If he doesnt, theres 3 other high potential guys behind him. Between those four, i'm sure we'll be able to find good goaltending.

And if not, goaltending becomes available every year. Flyers ultimate downfall hasn't been goaltending in quite some time.

Just because you can put up points offensively at ES doesn't mean you're a two way stud. Obviously does't mean you're a pp specialist either.

Ghost is an offensive defenseman which is great, especially at his contract makes him one of the most valuable D in the league. But two way stud give me a break if that were remotely true he would have been a norris finalist with the season he had.

I think HFB unanimously call Provorov a two -way stud.... what if I told you.... That Ghost was better at both ends of the ice for large portions of the year?

No matter what fans are told that don't watch him play Consistently he'll have that narrative due to his elite offensive ability.

Ghost could have gotten a Norris bid as a finalist and it wouldn't have been egregious. In fact I think he finishes somewhere between 5-7

Ghost played the year on the top pair with Provorov against the other teams top lines and as stated previously at times was the better defenseman. Calling him an offensive defenseman only shows any lack of insight into his game at all. He’s improved a lot in his own end since drafted but again he falls into the offensive defenseman can’t defend HF logic.
