Rumor: Philadelphia looking for a D-man - Schenn and Couturier maybe available

His interview with Pat Steinberg, for one. He mentioned that it would be better for his physical and mental development to continue on in university, even though the Flames have told him there's a contract waiting for him here if he leaves.

That was in regards to staying on this upcoming season, was it not?
I have yet to hear him say anything in regards to staying for the fourth year.

I don't care if JG plays next year in the NCAA then a year on the Heat, or if he plays the next 2 years in the NCAA, the Flames just better dam well ensure he signs a contract when he's ready. I think playing in either league for his 4th season will affect his development the same, but I do think its best for him to stay in College next year and bulk up a little more.

Just another reason he should turn pro, Rich Hesketh and Troy Ward wouldn't allow that ****!
