Not true. He posted a .861 SV% in the loss vs. Carolina.

In his last 5 starts, Howard has posted: .909, .967, .941, .925, .861

Those are 2 games where he's had a sub .910 SV%. That poster was making a true statement. If you don't believe me, a simple check of his game log on nhl.com can confirm that information for you.

I think Howard has been doing well, and I wasn't even the one who made that comment, so I guess I should probably stop debating semantics at this point.

The first time he posted the false statement:

His last couple games he has had a 910 save% Dont think he's really gonna be back to being the Howie of 2013.

He's referring to the past couple of games, claiming that he's had consecutive games with a sub. 910 save %. That is what is false.

Almost every goalie in the game has had 2-3 games with a sub .910 save % this season, including Mrazek.

Does everyone realize that Petr has played more than Carey Price this year and has Carey Price like stats? Crazy.

Mrazek is the 2nd or 3rd best goalie according to stats in the nhl. Im not really gonna count That Neuvirth guy because we all know how he is and his stats are boosted by 3 shutouts. will come down soon enough. esp on the flyers

So, is this kid going to be elite or what? Like top 2-3 goalie in the league within a couple years?

The way goalies ebb and flow, way too hard to tell.

Look around the league and you'll see a list of guys who were top 3 goalies for a season or so. Consistency is the virtue of an elite #1, which we see from guys like Price, Lundqvist, and Rinne.

There's a handful of young to youngish guys like Mrazek doing really well, too. Jake Allen, Holtby, Schneider and several others. They are all sitting in a similar boat as Mrazek at the moment.

Then you have the rise and fall of a goalie like Bobrovsky, who is only 27, so it's probably premature to count him out after the bad start here by Columbus. The bottom line is there's a lot of young and elite goalie talent out there at the moment, so for somebody to distinguish themselves from the pack is difficult.

This. Basicly Mrazek has done way too little. He has to play like this for 3-4 seasons, then ...
