I said it last night after that game; If you give Laine that much space, from that range, it's basically a tap in.

It's funny because it's not even a surprise anymore. I'm more surprised when he misses

Good players turn over the puck more often, as well. Why? Because they have the puck more often.

Regardless, Laine's individual play looks a lot stronger to me as we head towards the playoffs. He's protecting the puck better, is winning more board battles, and he's now constantly moving his feet. Kudos to him - makes him far more dangerous in far more situations.
