Why are so many people so against 11 and 7? Like I got not wanting to do it in the regular season but we have the depth on defense and our 4th line was absolute dog shit against Tampa….why would we not keep doing it?

He would definitely make the 2nd PP unit more potent and he's honestly a lot better defensively than I thought he was. I thought he was MAB, but he can play defense.
He had a really good play where he just straight up bodied Hagel when he was coming in full steam, I thought for sure he was gonna get walked and then he did that which was a pleasant surprise.

Sums it up perfectly.

All that being said,, I spend about 1 month a year down in Boca and Miami for baseball. I enjoy it there but I have seen a lot of really wacky stuff.

Not the place to discuss politics, religion, or really anything. Keep everything superficial and you can get by

Fourth line was bad but I think our optimal forward line up has Lafferty scratched, we can run Knies Jarnkrok and Bunting as our top 3 LWs and move Kerfoot to the fourth, Kerfoot Kampf Aston-Reese could be a lot better imo.

I think Lafferty’s struggles in the neutral zone were a big reason our fourth line got so caved, guy frequently had opportunities to get the puck out but would skate himself into no man’s land and then turn it over.

Leafs were awful on faceoffs against TBL. They were very good in the regular season though.

Banning the sales of tickets to a public event based on country of residence doesn't seem like it should be allowed no?
I would assume they know what's legal and not legal.
Many things for purchase in the world have restrictions on them by geography.

He's basically a worst version of Malgin. Soft on pucks and didn't win puck battles. Like you said, he would skate himself into terrible positions. His skating was good and he did try to play more physical but hardly ever a factor.

So a special teams series? One thing. Season long stats are skewed and weighted before the trade deadline. We brought in 3 top hitters in the NHL since then. Do these stats include their hits for the full season and attribute to the Leafs?

I think there will be lots of PP opportunities, but the “even up“ trend in playoffs means we will need to kill a lot too.

I think we should work in Woll to this series.

Vasi playing uncharacteristically poor has covered up Sammy's less than stellar play.

Pretty much the optimal lines the Leafs can put together.

Oh yeah. I'm still not sure how exactly I'd like to deploy Knies/Jarnkrok/Bunting at LW in the top 9. I really like Jarnkrok with Matthews but I wonder if Keefe thinks Tavares needs all the defensive help he can get on his wings. Overall though very good stuff.

Florida played the bruin hard
They had great stick work
Can't take them lightly

Sammy is the safe play.

Keefe won't start Woll unless Sammy tanks, so it doesnt matter.
