Their coasting style is garbage when they're not out-hustling and lack crisp exits.

The D is at the root of this issue. They keep us pinned into our own end and they're not good at giving crisp outlet passes. It doesn't matter if you have the best forwards in the world, if your D can't get the puck up to them, they won't do anything.

It was an issue last season too. Nobody would argue we lacked defensive ability then.

There’s no offensive identity on this team outside of PP specialists. Whatever 5x5 system we use renders any speed on the team useless. It depends wholly on spectacular individual plays.
