This is so unbelievable. We are getting bailed out bigtime on the cap situation! He was PPG+ in the KHL at 23 AND we get him at 950k. He should conservatively have 45-55 points in the NHL when you convert those KHL numbers to the NHL.

The KHL to NHL conversion factor is .83. That puts Artemi Panarin at 78 ****ing points in the NHL. This is the biggest thing to happen to the Hawks future since Saad emerged as a top line Wing. We have no Russians, we haven't had a Russian in a decade. This is unfathomable.

Ok that makes sense. I saw the KHL conversion post and thought you meant the 78 points. I think your conservative estimate of around 50 is a lot more realistic, which would still be fantastic.
