Of the 96 tickets, 92 were single seats and 2 were pairs.

Two pairs of tickets were available to see the Toronto Maple leafs in the playoffs. Two.

I'm a full advocate for Toronto to somehow build a new 25,000+ capacity arena for the leafs .

doesnt surprise me. Ive been saying for years, any Leafs game you watch, the seating right around the glass is nothing but guys in suits and ties. Leafs arent a team for the people of Toronto, theyre a team for the the corporate businessmen of Toronto.

Although this is drawing criticism, this is good for the NHL. More $ in the pockets of the poorer teams who need it.

When I logged in for presale it looked to be around 100 available

Yes, it sound like there was around 800 tickets available, the majority of those were available to season ticket holders, that left 100 for the Leafs Nation presale code, and then after that is where the '96 for general public' numbers come from.

Seems like there's some entitled fans that think they should be equal but only at certain times of the year

The "Suits" thing is such a myth. I was just at 2 games the past couple of weeks and they are in some seats closest to the rink, but the vast majority are just regular fans.

I went to Game 2 of Caps vs Leafs in Washington last year, and there were hundreds of Leafs fans. Told me it was cheaper to get a round trip flight, a ticket to the game and a hotel night than getting a ticket at ACC for Game 3.

It is certainly close. When I thought it might be Tampa, I found plane tickets for $400 there and return before the tickets.

25 years ago you could probably call the Manitoba Ticket Master number while everyone else in the GTA is on hold

using a fake quarter on a string in a phonebooth.

I was at game 3 and 6, was just under $500 CDN for the 4 tickets.
It has gone up this year, $270 for a 1st round pair.

I honestly don't have as big an issue with this as some of my fellow fans.

Tickets are always available on the secondary markets. I went to a playoff game last year.

The prices meet the demand. I know it sucks, but there are simply too many people who want tickets to keep prices suppressed.

Not good. I get you want to give tickets to certain people but more than 96 people should have access to a playoff ticket for a home game.

Regular fans can wear suits as well. I wore a suit for 4 years to work, didn't change my fandom.
